Aerogel Pro, as owner of the domain names including those at the address https://www.aerogelpro.com (hereinafter the “Site”), uses the Site not only as a means of providing information about the company’s activities and/or products, but also as a tool for collecting personal data
Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Code, Aerogel Pro, as Data Controller (hereinafter the “Controller”), provides the following notice regarding the processing both of the personal data of users who merely browse the Site (browsing data) and of those who spontaneously send their data through email messages and/or by filling in specific forms in order to access reserved sections within the Site or to receive the Controller’s newsletter.
This notice is in any case provided only for the Site and for the activities carried out by Aerogel Pro, including through its own data processors, and not for other websites that the user may consult via links and/or activities carried out by third parties.
Types of data processed
1.1 Browsing data
The IT systems and software programs required for the operation of the Site record, during their normal operation, certain data whose acquisition is automatic and unavoidable (when Internet communication protocols are used) and which could, in association with other data, allow users to be identified.
Such data may be used solely for the purpose of obtaining statistical information on the use of the Site and to verify its correct functioning.
Where expressly requested, such data may be used by the Public Authority to ascertain liability in the event of computer crimes committed against the Site and/or third parties, in accordance with the procedures in force at the competent Authorities.
1.2 Data provided voluntarily by individual users
Personal data provided voluntarily by individual users, through the sending of email, the user’s interaction with the Site’s features, the request for services offered by the Site, and the filling in of specific forms to access reserved sections of the Site.
The processing will in any case be limited, for both cases considered, to common data only
Methods and purposes of processing
The data will be processed both manually and with the aid of electronic tools for the following purposes,
– operational management of browsing on the Site and the related access data;
– management of data and Site security;
– market research and statistical processing
– staff research and selection
In addition, with the free and optional consent of the user, the Controller may process the data for the purposes of defining individual and group profiles (profiling) as well as for marketing purposes, such as the communication, via newsletter, email or SMS, of information and/or updates on the activities and products of the Controller as well as the initiatives or events organised by the Controller and the other companies belonging to the Aerogel Pro group, or in which such parties will take part, including invitations to said initiatives or events. The user will have the possibility to object at any time to this last processing purpose and to no longer receive promotional and/or commercial materials and information.
Data retention
The personal data collected will be stored and processed through an electronic system managed by Aerogel Pro located at the premises of Aerogel Pro. The other companies of the group, duly appointed as Data Processors, may be and in fact are involved in the processing of personal data in relation to the management of the Site and its related services and features.
Communication of data
The data will be communicated to the other companies belonging to the Aerogel Pro group or to professionals, freelance collaborators, service companies and/or third parties that cooperate with the Controller for the pursuit of the purposes set out above.
The parties who receive the user’s personal data may process it as Controllers, Processors and/or persons in charge of processing, as the case may be.

The data will not under any circumstances be subject to dissemination
Automatic data collection mechanisms
Session cookies and permanent cookies are used on the Site.
Session cookies are temporary and are automatically deleted each time browsing of the Site is ended.
“Permanent” cookies, on the other hand, remain on the user’s hard drive until they are deleted. Cookies are used to allow full use of the Site and/or to track the visit to the various pages/sections of the Site.
In any case, cookies are not and will not be used to retrieve personal data or to detect information relating to the user’s browsing of other sites.
The information collected through cookies will be used for purely statistical purposes.
The user may at any time disable the operation of cookies by selecting the appropriate setting on their browser, it being understood that this decision could prevent the use of some features of the Site or the possibility of interacting with the Site itself.
Provision of data
With the exception of browsing data (collected automatically by the system), the provision of data by the user is necessary to register on the Site and access the services and features offered by the Site and the reserved areas. Failure to provide the data will result in the user being unable to access and use said services and features.
The provision of data for carrying out marketing activities is always free and optional. Any failure to provide data for said activity will have no consequence on the user’s ability to use the services and features offered by the Site.
Rights of the data subject
The data subject may exercise the rights recognised by Art. 7 of the Privacy Code, including, by way of example, the right to obtain a copy of the data processed, their updating, rectification, integration and, where applicable, erasure and blocking. Requests to access data pursuant to Art. 7 of the Privacy Code may be addressed to Aerogel Pro info@aerogelpro.com. In particular, the data subject may at any time withdraw the consent previously given to the sending of promotional and informational materials, including the newsletter.
